Oliver Julius, CV

 

Oliver is a director based in Mülheim, Germany and Moscow, Russia.

He began his advertising career working as a DoP.

When he got the chance to direct his first Kawasaki commercials and straight away won Bronze at the Young Director’s Award in Cannes he decided in 2001 to work exclusively as a Director.

Since then he has found that his real strength and passion lies in very visual vignettes films; portraying people and their feelings and turning them into emotional, touching films which capture the essence of a brand.

Given his background as a cameraman, it's not surprising that he also loves working as a photographer.

Oliver speaks German and English.
